Baked into the inventive punk energy and manic soul of Reverend Bro Diddley and the Hips is a callback to the wild west of the early days of rock ’n’ roll and the golden age of twist and shout.
Since its inception, the band has brought an energy and a unique edge to the Savannah music scene that has spawned many other acts. After a full-length release in 2019, the band has roamed around the southeast and released the occasional single in the last two years, always maintaining a tight and well-rounded live show.
Ever the prolific songwriter, frontman Ty Thompson has announced the second full-length LP by the band, "Mood Zoo" will be released in 2022.
